Due to nature of curved sensor and lens design it is easier to implement on a fixed lens camera. Expecting eventually a 50mp curved sensor on RX1 style camera but no idea when that would be, maybe smaller sensor will be first. Also it is possible the curved sensor will be on all fixed lens cameras are reduced lens elements required with sharper edge to edge results. <br /><br />Already the curved sensor is available in a phone camera module.
