For those, who won't have a chance to come to London next week, do you have a publication on this topic or the slides of the talk, or will there be a video online?Stephan Ulrichnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19092890.post-91411486144558281542019-03-07T21:26:09.668+02:002019-03-07T21:26:09.668+02:00Come to hear my talk at Image Sensors London comin...Come to hear my talk at Image Sensors London coming week. It will focus on those kind of silly specs you find all over the place in datasheets. I will analyze the specs of a well-known, famous sensor of a leading company and compare them with measurements in a real camera. The gap between both can be pretty large. If there was such a gap between your actual salary and the one your boss promised you, you would immediately go to his/her office to complain (=understatement) !Albert Theuwissen - Harvest Imagingnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19092890.post-55805394273429000212019-03-07T19:41:34.248+02:002019-03-07T19:41:34.248+02:00The data sheet gives information on achievable dis...The data sheet gives information on achievable distance error without saying anything about employed optics or light source. Considering that they try to sell a sensor and not a camera this makes absolutely no sense at all. Anybody can achieve any performance if they use welding lasers and telescope lenses... Please either provide sensor performance such as demodulation contrast or if you really want to spec camera parameters provide information on what optics, lasers and computing power is required.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19092890.post-50497763119876765382019-03-07T19:37:12.069+02:002019-03-07T19:37:12.069+02:00What about demodulation contrast vs. modulation fr...What about demodulation contrast vs. modulation frequency? The specs don't really link to ToF.
