Low SPAD dead time is essential in more and more sensitive SPADs. If a SPAD saturates due to high PDE and long dead time, it is useless. Aggregating 2 or more saturated SPADs gives us saturated macro-pixels.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19092890.post-48235456869277306612020-08-18T06:27:09.415+03:002020-08-18T06:27:09.415+03:00what do you mean by "no "macro-pixel&quo...what do you mean by "no "macro-pixel" can save it?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19092890.post-36192375067882628732020-08-14T11:57:57.705+03:002020-08-14T11:57:57.705+03:00High sensitive SPADs are mentioned more and more o...High sensitive SPADs are mentioned more and more often, but no one talks about their dead time which is equivalently (or more?) important for ranging. A high sensitive and saturated SPAD is useless and no "macro-pixel" can save that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
