What we have achieved is merging these two streams in to one on teh camera stream side and then breaking these streams in to two separate streams and still achieve 30fps on both the Left and right sides. This is to make sure you get the real world data so that you dont miss on the depth calculation. This involves some extensive work on the OMAP ISP. Finally, if this was that simple, someone would have done it before and it would not have taken us around 6 months to develop this!harishankkarhttp://www.e-consystems.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19092890.post-38494192961961587262012-04-03T20:37:22.878+03:002012-04-03T20:37:22.878+03:00No this is easy with the used Sensor. The two camera streams are combined to one stream and then passed through the OMAP pipeline and then they are again split. So, this is something which we wanted to do since it helps our customers to build stereo products. Our customers have tried to do this in the past with 2 USB cameras and had lot of performance issues and hence we had launched this solution.harishankkarhttp://www.e-consystems.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19092890.post-23036200018631179792012-03-23T21:50:27.791+02:002012-03-23T21:50:27.791+02:00The DM3730 has only one parallel camera interface ...The DM3730 has only one parallel camera interface and here there are two camera inputs. I also saw their website with one more Video. Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJjWZ6LvmGw&feature=player_embedded. The Video says they have 45uS accuracy between the two frames. Also looking at the docs, they are claiming VGA @30fps from both the cameras simultaneously. The Video frame rate shown might due to the GUI interface and the frames might be grabbed before that.

It would be good to have color and they have only monochrome which is not good!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19092890.post-66169044227709994412012-03-22T07:43:37.060+02:002012-03-22T07:43:37.060+02:00MT9V024 has a stereo mode where 2 sensors are pixe...MT9V024 has a stereo mode where 2 sensors are pixel clock synchronized.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19092890.post-33356133984825870592012-03-21T21:37:15.555+02:002012-03-21T21:37:15.555+02:00The video clip shows severe vertical misalignment....The video clip shows severe vertical misalignment.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19092890.post-83337164513755356482012-03-21T20:47:59.021+02:002012-03-21T20:47:59.021+02:00The frame rate is low.
