However, the patent application is broader than the conference papers, as it talks about few different implementations of this idea.Vladimir Koifmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01800020176563544699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19092890.post-89975755949491281252009-01-03T11:21:00.000+02:002009-01-03T11:21:00.000+02:00This idea was already presented at the Internation...This idea was already presented at the International Solid-State Circuits Conference. Power penalty might be not that big - even assuming 10nF array reseted every 10us to 3V we get just 3mA current.Vladimir Koifmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01800020176563544699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19092890.post-67831828532840948592008-12-31T06:27:00.000+02:002008-12-31T06:27:00.000+02:00There is a payment for simplicity. Performing RST once a frame may cause issues capturing an overexposed scene (assume A-nodes leak to gnd). One may also expect lower voltage range and higher PRNU through source follower capacitance reattached from RST to pix_out.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19092890.post-55200413958298493242008-12-30T11:00:00.000+02:002008-12-30T11:00:00.000+02:00Maybe this is not only for the improvment of the l...Maybe this is not only for the improvment of the light sensitivity. I hear that the omnipixel 3-HS uses this kind of thing to improve light sensitivity, but I've never actually seen anything with those kind of OV pixels. Don't know of anybody else who has found a way around the reset problem.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
