Yahoo: In search for new markets Pixelplus announces a biometric SoC. The new sensor is combined with an image recognition engine on 32-bit RISC processor. The company expects the new PM1002 SoC to become a practical biometric solution with respect to iris, facial and fingerprint recognition for mobile and non-mobile security applications.
