Video/Imaging Design Line: Kodak announced KAI-02150 CCD providing 1080p video at 60fps rate. The CCD is unusually fast for such a high resolution device. The article does not tell how many parallel outputs this CCD has.
It's based on 5um pixels and fits to 2/3" format. The price is $425. Engineering samples are currently available, with volume production planned for Q4 2008.
