Hynix July 2010 Newsletter reports that the company's VGA sensors are already being supplied to major notebook models and their "
performance and image quality are tested through a strict evaluation process". Hynix first targets Taiwan mini notebook market and plans to expand gradually in high cost notebook segment. Currently only 1/10-inch 2.25um pixel VGA sensor is in mass production, while 1MP/2.0um and 1.3MP/1.75um sensors are under development.
