If the sensor price is low enough and the resolution and other system requirements aren't that great, there are probably plenty of applications. My now-eight-year-old son is fascinated with secret agents, so my wife got him a "spy" wristwatch that has a little tiny camera and a little tiny screen. What about a flushable sewer inspection camera that is wireless and disposable? How about a bullet camera that snaps and sends a small picture at a designated range so you can see what's behind a wall when firing in combat? Et cetera...
who uses QVGA today? What could be the applications of this kind of low resolution sensors??
