In the simulator the pixels in the scene image are directly mapped to the pixels in the output which makes using USAF1951 rather cumbersome. However, we added an additional test image comprising line-pairs where the width of the lines vary between 1 to 6 pixels.
Yes, there is ! Please check out with Image Engineering in Germany (www.image-engineering.de)and check/look after iQ-simulator. I think that the iQ-simulator can handle monochrome images, but I do know that the colour version is on its way.
