    1. Dear Anonymous, if I knew who you are, I could give you more technical info, but it so difficult/dangerous/tricky to give info to an unknown person ... If you do not want to publicly disclose your identity, you can contact me also off-line at : info "AT" harvestimaging "DOT" com

    2. Why? The OP is asking for technical details. These are dispassionate facts, not value judgments. Why would it be "... so difficult/dangerous/tricky to give info to an unknown person ......" This statement makes no sense.

    3. I don't agree with Albert. The sole reason behind the existence of this forum is the sharing of knowledge. You cannot curb that. If you cannot share because of affiliation with a company, then you just keep quiet, but cannnot say that it is dangerous/tricky to give info.

    4. I do agree that this forum exist to share knowledge, and that is what I have done many, many times already. But if someone is asking for very specific information then I also would like to know who is asking this information. Do not be afraid that in the case I am working for a company that is involved in AF technology I will disclose this in this forum. I am not (yet) totally crazy.

  2. The custodians of knowledge do not share it for free it comes with a price tag ;)

  3. Let's hope new smartphones all come with phase detection AF. At least the Note 4 and Galaxy S6 already do, but I'm still missing 4K with HDR and waiting for next phones ;)
What about the new LeTV Le Max using Sony IMX230, that would be a nice camera phone I would be willing to bet, will it be available in Europe soon? what lens (f stop) it is using? I suppose it will be able to do HDR+4K like sony announced with it's sensor...
