Kwang Bo (Austin) Cho has left ON Semi to join SK Hynix, Korea as Senior Vice President, Head of CIS Division. This is definitely a big news for SK Hynix that needs to re-position itself and find a differentiation on the image sensor market.

ReplyDeleteWell, there is a lot of work ahead. Hynix definitely has a potential to compete in the first tier, but one needs to convert this potential into the really competitive products. This is not easy.
DeleteI met him at ISSCC and indeed he was very happy with his new assignment. But to be honest with you, I did not expect anything else. Can you imagine that someone decides to take up a new job and tells you that he is not happy with his decision ...

On the other hand, technical information are very good.
It is useful and interesting if you are part of the small image sensor technologist community. Negative useless comments... not so interesting.
