In the days since iPhone X release, many people are exploring the limits of its Face ID recognition accuracy. It looks like Apple is well prepared to the obvious ways to attack the Face ID:

However, in some cases, the Face ID can be successfully fooled, such as here, here, and here.
Iris for the purpose of iris recognition has the 249 degrees of freedom, or information dimensions, through data fitting and has the riches amount of information.
ReplyDeleteFingerprint has much lower DoF and face has even lower.
It is not a surprise to see fingerprint or FaceID, once extracted into a binary code, being common within a small population no matter what the claims are.
