Very important area. There is a lot of useful information on automotive image sensing (as well as the people who create it!) at AutoSens. Automotive has really opened up image sensing as the applications are both high volume, innovative and consequential.
These LiDAR folks still living in perfect imaging systems bubble. He didn't address interference and mitigation due to significant number of concurrent systems operating on the road.

Interference is the elephant in the room. All the graphics show a single auto with Lidar beams. This seems like an obvious omission.
