Popphoto shows pictures of ESO's VST (European Southern Observatory's VLT Survey Telescope) camera with 268MP sensor array.
The VST uses a 720kg OmegaCAM camera with an array of 32 CCDs arranged in 8x4 array. The extra 4 CCDs are used to control the guiding and active optics systems as well as many huge color filters:
