Brigates Focuses on Security Market

Brigates appears to abandon all its markets, but surveillance and security, as its recent product list suggests:

  1. As it's exposed on their website in Chinese: in coming 5 years, they will focus not only on surveillance and security, but also on medical, human-machine interaction markets and system solutions.

  2. I think that it's not easy for such kind of companies in image sensors, generally founded by some individuals coming back from abroad to China. Since the lower performance is clearly visible for end users, so low cost policy cannot succeed. Higher performance products made by western companies have still their value in the final products. Most of surveillance camera companies perfer largely the sensors from SONY.

  3. SONY sensors are right on par with APTINA sensors... Thats why APTINA has the number 1 share.

    2. the whole blogger.com is officially blocked in China, the same as google, facebook....but if you really want to read this image sensor world blog, you can find a way to bypass the network firewall in China...it will need a bit of effort, but still quite possible.
