Makes me think, is this something the IISS can pick up? Would be a bummer to have such a heritage just die out. I'm sure there would be volunteers willing to share workload.
Vladimir, thanks so much to create this huge information base. Please keep this database open and there is invaluable information and souvenir inside !!! Thanks again !
I had to pause to think if it was April 1st! I'm still wondering if your account got hacked?
Assuming this is real, it's sad news. This is the first website I visit every morning. I regularly find news that is interesting, and often find news that is relevant to my work.
The blog means a lot to the image sensor industry, congrats to you! Will miss this blog a lot and hope someone carries on the business. Can you share where did you get the information from?
@ Can you share where did you get the information from?
A lot of it comes from Google news alerts. Some info also comes from my industry connections. As a custom sensors design house, we talk with many organizations and often pointed to the right direction to look for the info.
i will definitely miss your blog Vladimir. is there a way to put the load on multiple shoulders? I'm sure there are some people who would/could help to reduce the amount of work for you.
what if we try to form a group of people that support Vladimir, like e.g. in open source community the guys who filter and check the pull requests before Linus accepts them? I think it should be possible to find a few guys who commit to support Vladimir on a regular basis (I would do for example).
All the very best in these busy times. A huge thank you for all you have achieved so far to the benefit of the entire community. A pleasure to have met you in past conferences and hope to see a great comeback soon. Take care.
thank you very much Vladimir. I appreciate all the work you have put into writing this blog, which given the quality of your posts and timeliness should really be a media empire ;) I hope all is well. take care.
