Prophesee Appoints Jean Ferré as Chief Executive Officer to Lead Event-based Vision Sensing Pioneer in Next Stage of Growth

Paris, France – December 23, 2025 – Prophesee, a pioneer and global leader in event-based vision technology, today announced the appointment of Jean Ferré as Chief Executive Officer. He has been designated by the board to succeed Luca Verre, Prophesee’s co-founder and former CEO, who is leaving the company. This leadership transition comes as the company enters a new phase of commercialization and growth, building on a strong technological and organizational foundation and welcoming new investors. The company is sharpening its near-term focus on sectors with high value use cases demonstrating today the strongest demand and adoption momentum such as security, defense and aerospace, as well as industrial automation. Prophesee will continue to support volume vision-enabled applications markets where it has achieved initial commercial success such as IoT, AR/VR, consumer electronics.
