Caeleste and SensL Present SPAD Ranging Array
Cealeste published its recent SPIE presentation on SPAD ranging array with nice explanations of its operation and measurement results. The presentation itself is a continuation of one from a year ago. The summary page shows impressive performance level:

it's a classic circuit design with an off-chip SPAD array. What's new and original?
ReplyDelete150ps timing resolution is claimed to be unique.
ReplyDeleteThere were several papers on particle hit detection and also on CMOS Lidar, the precision was higher than this. The equivalent bandwidth is only 6Ghz, I cannot see why this is unique.
