e2v Supplies CCD for NASA Solar Mission

Electronics Weekly reports that e2v CCDs are used in NASA Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) project.

  1. I checked the instruments out of curiosisty, and SDO also uses BSI CCDs from MIT in the EVE instrument:

    There's also data for the AIA instrument (where the e2V's CCDs should be):

    But not so much on HMI's CCD:
