Sharp Imager Sales Growth Slows

Sharp has presented its quarterly results about a month ago. It appears that the company's imager sales have peaked about half a year ago and slowly go down now:

  1. The peak of production is due to the production of CMOS camera module for iPhone 6s. The imager sales stricly speaking is probably below 100Billion Yen. The imager sale decline is maybe true but those numbers only state that Sharp is a big Module maker and rising (+26.8% YoY)

  2. Does Sharp, in fact, still make CMOS sensors for use in their branded camera modules or only those supplied by third parties such as Sony for the iPhone?
