PRNewswire: SRI International has received an award to deliver digital night vision camera prototypes to support the U.S. Army's IVAS (Integrated Visual Augmentation System) program. SRI will design a low-light-level CMOS sensor and integrate the device into a custom camera module optimized for low size, weight and power (SWAP).
"SRI has been steadily advancing the low-light-level performance of night vision CMOS (NV-CMOS®) image sensors and we are pleased that the IVAS program will incorporate our fourth generation NV-CMOS imagers," said Colin Earle, associate director, Imaging Systems, SRI International.
