Delft University published Ning XIE's theis "Low-Power Low-Noise CMOS Imager Design in Micro-Digial Sun Sensor Application". The thesis is to be presented on July 2, 2012.
At first I was surprised to see the low noise is required for a sun sensor. Most of this was answered in section discussing the algorithms and sun tracking camera design.
Link to thesis does not work ;-(
ReplyDeleteProbably because it was a mistake on part of Delft University to publish it online before her Defense
ReplyDeleteYou are right, I asked the library to put an embargo on the release of the thesis till Ning has the chance to defend her work. So I expect that the link will work again after July 2nd.
DeleteAlbert,
ReplyDelete"digial" in the title...is that a typo? If so...I hope she didn't take it to print yet
Indeed, there is a typo in the original doc title.
DeleteTHANKS VERY MUCH, VERY GOOD CATCH ! Ning should buy you a beer, or maybe I should. Unfortunately I can not buy a beer for all anonymous reactions, so you should disclose you name.
DeleteNo, it is not the final print yet. So after all, because TU Delft put the thesis so quickly on the web, a typo in the title is found before the final print. There was a famous Dutch soccer player who stated : "Every disadvantage has its advantage". Seems to be correct again.
