Mesa Imaging announces its SR4500 camera, the newest camera of the SR4000 platform. It combines high-power illumination with accuracy and stability, thus is more robust in high background light levels scenes:
What do they mean with "high-power illumination"? In the datasheet I couldn't find any specifications. Of course more radiant flux allows for improvements in precision, but they actually don't specify that. Repeatability is only given at 100 % reflectance and without ambient light.
