European project
2WIDE_SENSE aims at providing European automotive industry with the next generation image sensors beyond the current CMOS imagers. The core sensing technology is a cost-effective InGaAs focal plane array with wide spectral response (VIS-NIR-SWIR) and wide dynamic range (120dB). The project has been completed recently an its
final report has been published.
The sensor is an InGaAs photovoltaic pixel array stacked on top of a CMOS logarithmic-mode readout die. The pixel size is 15um. The 320x256 array is covered with color filters:
- Clear: no filter
- F2: SWIR (1300-1700 nm)
- F3: RED+NIR+SWIR (>600nm)
- F4: SWIR (>1000nm)
