Sharp Reports Quarterly Sales

Sharp reports its Q1 FY2015 results for the quarter ended on June 30, 2015. The image sensors sales are presented as a separate item. One can see that image sensor business has grown to become the biggest product category among the company's main products:

    Sony’s FY2014 image sensor revenue (see 07/30/15 blog) was 454B Yen. Sharp's FY2014 “CIS+CCD” revenue of 339B Yen includes all the camera modules. The real image sensor IC portion should be much lower.
