Yes, interesting simulator, albeit a little outdated. It's not accounting for many modern pixel effects, like pixel sharing, asymmetrical crosstalk and shading, etc.
Well, I'm not familiar with any commercial version of modern pixel simulator. A typical 2.2um 4T shared pixel exhibits too many tricky artifacts. In fact, many well-known and reputable ISP vendors do not understand modern pixels, let alone two Stanford professors with couple of students.
