Eric Fossum posted in comments on Japan earthquake disaster:
"Regarding 2011 IISW:
We are delaying registration payments until we understand the magnitude of the evolving nuclear catastrophe. As a precautionary step, we have started to investiagte alternate locations elsewhere in Japan and to consider neighboring countries in Asia.
(from N. Teranishi and J. Nakamura)"
Glad to read the committee is proceeding with caution after the tragic and catastrophic events in Japan.
ReplyDeleteis there any plan to move IISW to other country?
ReplyDeleteIs it not necessary to ask this question. This deserves a rude comment.
ReplyDeleteJapan offered/offering and inspiring us in image technologies. I will recommend opening a donation account as image world or via the IISW to donate as a community.
ReplyDeleteJapan has amazing people and the ability to recover quickly with more strength than before. They don't need the help.

ReplyDeleteSorry, I have absolutely no experience with opening and managing donation accounts. If somebody can do it, I'd gladly post a link. Meanwhile, you can donate on one of already opened accounts, such as these:
