SPIE published "Advances in time-of-flight and time-correlated single-photon-counting devices" article by Daniel Durini (Fraunhofer) and Franco Zappa (Politecnico di Milano). The article mostly lists the achievements made as a part of the European Commission's MiSPiA (Microelectronic Single-Photon 3D Imaging Arrays for low-light high-speed Safety and Security Applications) project. For instance, SPAD-based imager with 30um pixels with 12 counts per second (cps) at room temperature and 5V of excess bias over the breakdown voltage.
Correction: The 30um relates to SPAD active area. The pixel size is 100um or more. Thanks to LP for correction!

Hi Vladimir, 30um is the diameter of the SPAD active area. The pixel size is 100 or 150um. Anyway, 12 cps for a 30um SPAD at room temperature is really an outstanding result, congratulations to the MiSPiA team! I wonder if the dark count rate distribution is also that good.
