Canon Reports Increase in Sales of Lithography Equipment for Image Sensors

Canon announces Q1'13 results and reports that "investment in semiconductor lithography equipment to produce image sensors... showed steady growth."

    What are the fundamental differences between standard CMOS lithography and the CIS lithography??

      No difference. It just means that somebody is expanding image sensor production now.
