I think that it's not easy for such kind of companies in image sensors, generally founded by some individuals coming back from abroad to China. Since the lower performance is clearly visible for end users, so low cost policy cannot succeed. Higher performance products made by western companies have still their value in the final products. Most of surveillance camera companies perfer largely the sensors from SONY.
the whole blogger.com is officially blocked in China, the same as google, facebook....but if you really want to read this image sensor world blog, you can find a way to bypass the network firewall in China...it will need a bit of effort, but still quite possible.
