Do I understand correctly that Gigajot camera has some active cooling?
ReplyDeleteI understand it's just eval platform, but are they any fundamental reasons why the camera can't be smaller? Thanks!
there are some infos on their website: https://www.gigajot.tech/qiscdk. there is a smaller camera. The one in the video is labeled "temperature stabilized"
DeleteProbably Smaller size = more complex cooling system. Is here any reason be smaller for much bigger price?
DeleteI see compact versions of QIS cameras on their website: https://www.gigajot.tech/qiscdk
DeleteTo clarify, there are two versions of the Gigajot QIS cameras: 1) the Temperature Stabilized camera maintains the sensor at 10C, 2) the Compact camera sensor temperature is 25-35C. The target applications for these sensors/cameras do not require smaller size. There is no fundamental reason why a QIS camera module could not be as small as a cell phone camera module.
ReplyDeleteGreat, thank you.
