Digitimes quotes Chinese-language Commercial Times reporting that Vanguard International Semiconductor (VIS) has begun shipping 110nm-made image sensors to OmniVision. The sensors are manufactured at VIS' 8-inch Fab 2.
TSMC owns a good stake in VIS, so such a technology transfer seems quite natural to me.
