DALSA Gets Funding from Ontario Government

Marketwire: Ontario government will contribute a maximum grant of up to $24.3M to support DALSA's imaging technology R&D at the company's Waterloo facility. The grant is to be paid over a period of five years.

The Record: On the same day DALSA executives hosted a picnic to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary. The company employs nearly 1,000 people around the world, about 300 of them in Waterloo.

  1. so they need 24M$ for this picnic ?

  2. It's nice to see public support for the image sensor community, even if it's not down here in the "Miami of Canada".
