Invisage files SEC form for round D investment on March 25. The company intends to raise $30M in this round, of which it has raised $17,832,709 so far.
It's probably an extension, but note there is no law or regulation what you call your round (although to appear honest most companies go in order). But "legally" you could call your second round "Round F" and your sixth round "Round B", but obviously you would get raised eyebrows and questions like people are posting here.
Wasn't Round D last year?

Yes, indeed... My best guess is that this might be an extension of last year's D-round.
DeleteI would call this "Round E", using the SEC's "Form D" venture funding solicitation process…..
ReplyDeleteWhere is their product or demo chip?? Anyone has seen it??
ReplyDeleteWhat product? It's 2014 buddy. You don't need a product to get VC money. All you need is a fancy video.
