Pseudo 3D Imager from Cornell University

Cornell Center for Technology Enterprise and Commercialization presents "A Pseudo 3-D CMOS Imager Built Using Integrated Diffraction Gratings" by Alyosha Molnar, Patrick Gill, and Albert Wang:


  1. Interesting idea, though, I suppose it has a horribly low QE...

  2. I think this technology is highly sensitive to depth of focus, poor focus, and other optical effects. Note the test scene is only 10cm deep...
