Movidius Myriad 2 and Project Tango Presentation

BDTi publishes an article on Movidius' recently announced Myriad 2 vision processor, said to be 20 times more power effective than the company's previous generation chip. The sensor is used in Google Project Tango devices, and the article is accompanied by a video presentation by Johnny Lee, the Tango technical leader:

  1. And no obvious mention of Myriad 1 which is used by Tango? I guess google atap posts this stuff to get attention?

  2. And for that reason the title is wrong? Also the second line in the article says "The Sensor is used by...."? I thought Myriad products were some type of SOC (vision processors) not image sensors. Am I right?
