29 microns peak-to-valley flatness sounds like standard machining tolerances.
5 e- of readout noise actually sounds somewhat poor. Isn't LSST 1.8 e- readout noise? And aren't the latest Sony sensors near 1 e- (but with much smaller exposure times, granted)?
