sCMOS Sensors Comparison: BAE vs GPixel

PCO kindly sent me a slide from their presentation comparing sCMOS sensors from BAE (Fairchild Imaging) and GPixel. BAE manufactures its sensors at TSMC, while GPixel uses TowerJazz foundry.

    the options for giving the choice to a certain product for a certainb purpose are manifold.
    size, aspect ratio, signal-noise, dynamics, speed, shutter timing... (just for the first few)

    i am wondering why the BSI sensors with those low self-power consumption and that high QE peak wont provide a more on par readout noise reduction - e.g. they should be at least on par with the orther sensors listed in the table.

    The main difference exist in the QE, curious to know why fairchild wouldn't go for BSI and play with arc?
