  1. Congratulations Gennadiy! Hope you can drive some kind of standardization for camera IQ parameters in industry since Nokia is slowly falling off that role.

  2. He switched roles with Terry Gilton who is back at aptina. Good luck to both talented fellows.

    1. Titles don't matter, I can tell you more stories about it. Most important is to have fun in your job. Wishing Gennadiy good luck in his new future.

    2. Title does matter. It reflects a company's organization and the position/value in this company. Maybe this tells us why he switched to Apple. Maybe you too?

    3. I agree it is an odd title. Most titles that end with Officer are usually Corporate Officers and responsible for the corporation as a whole. But, Apple marches to the beat of a different drummer and perhaps there are Officers and officers. Perhaps Pixel Chief Technologist would be better.

Gennadiy's switch to Apple is one in a long line of Aptina body snatches that Apple has performed. My guess is that the outlook for Apple is better than the outlook for Aptina. I just hope Aptina finds its way back. Particularly painful for me to watch from the sidelines.
