Boyd Fowler Presents IISW 2015 Highlights

DeleteEffective pixel size of PDAF is actually already smaller than 1.0um. XD
ReplyDeleteTrends II, point 3: time for sensor providers to recognize this limitation and look to algorithm and logic providers to take HDR to the next level above 120 dB. Until new radical designs are implemented in-sensor, floor noise will continue to limit DR, a combined approach sensor/algorithms/logic is needed and should be recognized by this industry.
