On paper the specs look reasonable. I reached out to them to evaluate one of the images. This brings much needed competition to On Semiconductor and CMOSIS lines. If my evaluation checks out, I will publish a summary here.
I think that basic design is a heritage from CMOSIS with TowerJazz process. The performance is in the normal range with a correct design, no more. Does the market need so many huge area sensors?

ReplyDelete96dB needs 16-bit perfect ADC and 72dB needs 12-bit perfect ADC. What are the on-chip ADC please?
