Panasonic Aims to Supply Organic Image Sensor to Tesla

Reuters: Panasonic CEO Kazuhiro Tsuga said in an interview that the company would like to adapt its organic photoconductive film CMOS sensors for automotive applications as they can capture high-speed moving objects without distortion. Panasonic believes that these sensors are a good fit for Tesla cars.

  1. I hear Panasonic's Organic Film Technology suffers from image lag on the order of milliseconds.
    Anyone know what Panasonic's QE is at 940nm?

    1. do not about them and many patents of image sensor tech except panasonic aim to announce 8K camera before 2020, does mean 8K sensor complete on 2018.

      and panasonic remade cmos factory,may Sony semiconductor can't derive 8K 4/3's sensor.

  2. Seems like Panasonic are gearing up to make the 8K Varicam, with projected availability by 2020, a reality, as well as drawing even with Sony.
