When And Why to Use SWIR

Princeton Infrared publishes a video about InGaAs image sensor application possibilities:

  1. Nice demo! What about ice detection? Can you separate water and ice with SWIR? Pretty sure that should be possible.

Just an idea. Feel free to use it.

  2. We have demonstrated this long time with our Log SWIR sensor. By using Log response you can easily make a ratio based spectrum to distinguish different materials, water and ice for example. If you are interested you can take a look at www.new-imaging-technologies.com.

  3. We can indeed supply report on ice detection with our log sensor to all whom are interested in. send request to info@new-imaging-technologies.com Jean-Louis Lauront
