what is the meaning of "C" of "RGBC IR"?
C stands for "Clear"
Clear usually results in excessive crosstalk. Aptina learned that and ended up using yellow in Clarity+.
Is this an imaging sensor or a point sensor please ?
Seems this sensor measures spectral oddity of the scene and auto-applies stuff like fluorescent or LED lighting compensation. Smart idea, actually. And I think it could also be done with 1% of image sensor pixels in those 'funny' colors.
