Sony Rumored to Prepare 102MP Full-Frame Sensor Capable of 6K Video

SonyAlphaRumors publishes a rumor of new Sony 102MP full-frame sensor capable of 6K video at 30fps frame rate:


"2.91um pixel architecture, 100MP @ 10fps, 6K video using 12bit ADC with on-chip binning/line-skipping. 4K RGB 4:4:4 video with on-chip colour-aware binning.

This 12288 x 8192 100MP sensor employs a unique, CFA-based column-parallel ADC design:

  2. I've never seen so much technical details in Sony's datasheet. They don't have to reveal how they do 3*3 binning on the hardware. Seems like a fake?
