BusinessWire: ZTE announces the launch of Axon 20 5G smartphone in China on September 1, 2020. The device will be the world's first mass-produced 5G smartphone featuring under-display camera, marking a "milestone in ZTE's exploration of the true full display smartphone." The under-display camera is rumored to have 32MP resolution.

TheElec reports that Samsung is re-evaluating its ToF camera strategy in smartphone applications. Samsung’s System LSI business is developing a dToF module, and Samsung might drop its current iToF from the future phones. The rumored Samsung's intention is to increase the range from the currebt 3m and match 6m ToF capability of Apple dToF LiDAR module.
