Is there already information on which company designed the dToF array image sensor? My guess is it would be Sony finally unveiling their dToF design - and beating STMicro

DeleteDo we know if it is dToF and not structured light. Marketing under word "LiDAR" seems confusing.

DeleteAlso agree it is dTOF, which Apple decided to market as "LiDAR" since it sounds cooler. There is no standards or marketing body that says you have to to specify the specific type of light ranging. Indirect TOF can also be called "LiDAR", or anything that bounces light to take a measurement: Light Distancing and Ranging.
