DALSA Falcon2 Cameras Feature Fast CMOS Sensors

Market Wire: Teledyne-DALSA announced Falcon2 high resolution and high speed camera series. The new Falcon2 series includes the 4, 8, and 12M models, all based on global shutter 6um pixel:
  • Falcon2 4M delivers 4 MP at 168 fps,
  • Falcon2 8M delivers 8 MP at 90 fps
  • Falcon2 12M, delivering 12 MP at 58 fps

  3. The cameras have 8 and 10 bit ADC modes. Are these frame rates achieved in 10 bit mode also, or only in 8 bit mode?

  5. Does anyone know smaller sensor dedicated to smartphone cameras (1/4’’ format) having such a frame rate ? or at least faster than the usual 30 fps ?

  7. I just wonder if it makes sense to work on fast auto-focus devise dedicated to smartphone camera if sensors are not fast enough :
