Sony Registers SenSWIR Trademark

LetsGoDigital reports that Sony registered a trademark SenSWIR in Europe and in Canada. Possibly, this hints to an approaching release of a commercial product based on Sony InGaAs sensor presented at IEDM 2019.

    Interesting developments are going on in detectors for the SWIR spectral range. Looking forward to learn more about the tech and economical properties. Is the cited IEDM paper available meanwhile?
